This section is believed to have been used as an inn by the monastery residents in the past. The building has three entrances and is constructed from basalt and finely cut stone. It was built using a traditional local mortar known as "cas," which provides natural climate control.
With a rectangular plan aligned north–south (measuring 35 m x 9 m), the structure consists of two naves supported by pillar piers resembling elephant feet—a rare architectural feature in the region.
The interior is covered with cross vaults, while the exterior features a flat roof. The walls are built quite thick to help regulate indoor temperature. Loophole-style windows in the walls and skylights in the ceiling provide natural lighting.
